Yesterday we watched Martin Luther Ming Jr’s famous speech “I have a dream.” That speech was really empowering and it made people believe that soon in the future Black people would have equal rights and be treated like they deserved. I think that the speech was really inspirational and I feel that it impacted change in racism. I think that the speech gave people a lot of motivation to keep going with all the rioting and demanding equal rights. Racism is so unnecessary like we’re all people, were no different just because of the color of our skin or religious beliefs or all that stuff.

Today in class we had a sacratic seminar about Paul Simon but one thing that interested me about the topic was poetry. In my opinion mucis is a type of literature. Music is literature because Music is poetry and poetry is a type of literature and I feel like some people don’t agree because they just think that literature should be able serious things but I think Music should be a type of literature.
